  1. What is TuneThis?
  2. TuneThis is a music platform where artists can upload their music, stream songs, and promote their content.

  3. Who can use TuneThis?
  4. Both artists and listeners can use TuneThis. However, only artists can sign up and upload music.

  5. Do I need an account to listen to music?
  6. No, you can stream music without an account. However, only registered artists can upload songs.

  7. Can I sign up as a listener?
  8. No, TuneThis only allows artists to create accounts.

  9. Do you have a mobile app?
  10. Not yet, but we are working on one. Stay tuned!


    Artist Registration & Account Management

  11. How do I sign up as an artist?
  12. You can sign up by providing your email, password, artist name, gender, genre and nationality on our registration page.

  13. What information do I need to provide when signing up?
  14. We require an email address, password, artist name, and nationality.

  15. Why do you collect my email and password?
  16. Your email and password are used for authentication and security. We do not share them with anyone.

  17. How do you protect my account information?
  18. We store passwords securely using encryption, and your email is never shared with third parties.

  19. Can I change my artist name after signing up?
  20. Yes, provided there is no any other registered artist using the same name on TuneThis.

  21. What if I forget my password?
  22. Use the "Forgot Password" option on login page to reset your password via email.

  23. Can I delete my account?
  24. Yes, you can delete your account anytime. All your songs will be deleted too.


    Music Upload & Payments

  25. How can I upload my music?
  26. Log in to your account, go to the "Upload" page, and fill in the form to submit your song.

  27. Do I have to pay to upload my music?
  28. Yes, you need to make a Payment that gives you a 30-day unlimited uploads priviledge.

  29. How much does it cost to upload a song?
  30. Monthly subscription fee will be made available once payment systems have been intergrated.

  31. What file formats do you accept for uploads?
  32. We only accept MP3 file format for audio files and JPG/JPEG for images (cover arts, profile pictures and cover photos).

  33. Can I upload beats instead of songs?
  34. Yes, you can upload beats as long as they comply with our content guidelines.

  35. Can I edit or delete my uploaded songs?
  36. Yes, you can edit or remove your uploaded songs from your account dashboard.

  37. Do you pay artists for streams or downloads?
  38. No, TuneThis does not pay artists for streams or downloads.

  39. Can I promote my music on TuneThis?
  40. Yes, we offer promotion packages to boost your music visibility.

  41. What happens if my upload is removed?
  42. If your song is removed, you will be notified of the reason. If it violates our policies, it will not be reinstated.


    Streaming & Listening

  43. Do I need an account to stream music?
  44. No, anyone can stream music on TuneThis without an account.

  45. Is streaming free?
  46. Yes, streaming is completely free.

  47. How are song plays counted?
  48. Plays are counted when a user listens to a significant portion of a song.

  49. Can I download songs from TuneThis?
  50. No, TuneThis does not allow direct downloads.

  51. Can I create playlists?
  52. Playlist functionality is currently not available but may be added in future updates.


    Privacy & Security

  53. How do you recognize users without requiring logins?
  54. We use a simple email verification process to confirm that users are real people when they first visit or after their session expires.

  55. What data do you collect from users?
  56. We collect cookies, artist email addresses, passwords, genre, gender, nationality, and stage names. We also use temporary email verification for all users during first-time visits or when sessions expire. The email used for verification is not stored long-term and is deleted once the process is complete.

  57. Do you sell or share my data with third parties?
  58. No, we do not sell or share your data.

  59. How long do you retain user data?
  60. We retain data as long as the artist's account is active, or until a deletion request is made.

  61. Do you track users with cookies?
  62. Yes, we use cookies for session management and security. Email verification is also used to confirm user authenticity.

  63. Can I opt out of tracking?
  64. Some tracking can be disabled via your browser settings, but certain features may not work properly.


    Copyright & DMCA

  65. What happens if someone uploads my copyrighted music?
  66. You can submit a DMCA Takedown Request, and we will remove the infringing content.

  67. How do I file a DMCA takedown request?
  68. Visit our DMCA Policy page for instructions on submitting a request.

  69. What happens after I submit a DMCA request?
  70. We will review your request and take appropriate action, including removing the content if necessary.

  71. Can I dispute a DMCA takedown?
  72. Yes, you can submit a Counter-Notification if you believe your content was wrongfully removed.

  73. What are the consequences of repeated copyright violations?
  74. Artists who repeatedly upload copyrighted content will have their accounts suspended or banned.


    Technical Issues & Troubleshooting

  75. Why am I unable to upload my song?
  76. If you already subscribed, ensure your cover image, mp3 file meets the required formats and size limits and are not corrupt. Also make sure you enter valid information in the form fields.

  77. Why does my session expire frequently?
  78. Sessions expire after a period of inactivity for security reasons. Sessions may also clear if you clear browser cookies or change browser

  79. Why didn’t I receive the email verification code?
  80. Make sure you entered a valid email address and check your spam or junk folder. Some email services may delay or block automated messages. If you still don’t receive it, try requesting a new code or use a different email provider.

  81. What should I do if my song isn’t appearing in charts?
  82. Charts update periodically based on song plays, so check back later.
